Candle brings smiles across my face
And you know that this is the place for me
When I am with you, dear friend.
Make the daylight over time extend
So companions we can be even longer
You stood by me and made me stronger.
I will walk with you, my friend
Accompany you until travelling ends
But find yourself as we travel
Slowly the truth starts to unravel
You are beautiful and lovely and
Sunshine ignites golden sand
You are that energy, that light and heat
And your good makes my heart replete
You are the high that accompanies the low
And you have so much of your light to show
Only endings of joy will reach you now
And if you are wondering how
Light brings more light
Moon is bright because of sun
Light is never only one
Glowing orb does not in mirror absorb
But reflects other rays around
Light travels quicker than sound
Beam lights up surface
And so you will replace the black of night
That you so sadly have to fight
You will cause joy because of your own good
And it is when this you have understood
Spark will start a sparkling fire
Will be for everyone to admire
Just as I admire you now, dear friend
So candle, I have love to send.
JUST BECAUSE!!
Stand by me Lucy xxx
