Getting off the gear

You thought it couldn't be,
a reality above the vulgarity of your existence,
and no amount of persistence could get you out of the grasp of it,
its rasping breath on the back of your neck,
the wreck of your being, and what everyone else was seeing,
looking down on you, frowning on you,
 drowning you in glares
and stabbing you with stares
when you ventured out,
the regret, the fear, the doubt,
in your own self and what people thought of you,
what had been taught to you
and what you ignored.
It wasn't for fun, because you were just bored.
You wanted to feel more, be adored,
above what you could even imagine or think of,
and this is what brought you to the brink of the edge of hell.
You looked deep into it's heart while ecstasy tore you apart with each swell
and there was no going back from the start.
But you beat the beautiful, you stood up to it's power.
You suffered every second... second, minute, hour.
You endured the greatest of pain,
you were beaten with the cane.
You faced the worst state,
as the chemicals leaving you that had been thieving you were dragged back to straight.
You made love to the beast then stabbed it in the chest,
it felt so good but was the ultimate test.
To keep loving it and laying with it and then spend a life time or a death paying for it.
You shivered in it's absence as you felt abstinence for your love,
before you recovered you discovered how it felt to have that warm rush whisper 'hush'
like a lullaby in your ear.
The weeping, the crying, the tears escaping you.
This beast had been raping you.
But you felt every agonizing and antagonizing withdrawel as you were crawling away from it..
and away you'll stay from it.
Must be like hearing a baby weeping and wanting to run to it as the drug is seeping out of you.
The junk, the smack, the gear.
You got it out of you and showed no fear.
You didn't let it bring you further down,
you chose life and now you've found your redemption.
 So I think it's worth a mention.
No more heroin, you are genuine in your lust for living.
You got your second chance now, thank God for giving it to you.
Fresh start now, something brand new.
Well done, we're proud of you.

P.S I'VE NEVER TAKEN HEROIN, BUT I KNOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE AND HAVE GIVEN IT UP, SO THIS IS FOR YOU <3

  1. emotional rollercoaster.

i feel the flame of anger rise inside
i have no patiance,or time to bide
    theres always days like these
its like for gods sake geeze
i hate when i feel like this
why cant i just live in bliss?
the frustration is a sudden impact
an unwanted feeling n thats a fact!
the green eyed monster wants to get out
but i feel silent n i wana shout
id love to bury these feelings, deep
but they even creep into my sleep
i tell myself "ill be ok"
these semons are not here to stay
so i mentally put up a fight
and i can see my victory in sight
i am dealing with it in slow time
cos nothing is easy, not even this rhyme
im on my own and seriously thinking
i cant go on like this sinking
so i pull myself together again
say to the bad feelings, amen
but this wont last for long
these times are like a song
they end very quick and fast
and im back to square one i am cast
as quick as a dog can bark
again im sitting there in the dark
