Speck

I am a speck, within a crowd,
whispering out loud, moving too quick for the eye to see,
 passing me by so utterly,
without noticing, without a clue,
that here I am, watching you.
Moving, moving, unmoving I am,
I remain black pearl in tightly shut clam.
At the bottom of the ocean, a million miles away,
and I've been here the whole time,
 not knowing what to say.
Different world, different words, reality absurd.
Reality is mad at me, and I am sad to be stuck between paths,
 in a unsympathetic tearful aftermath,
and I've felt the hand of God and I am fearful of his wrath,
but creatures in between, with features of the hated remain unseen,
and morbidly fated.
Spinning on it's axis, like London lit up with many taxis,
I've trying to hitch a lift, but I've lost power, lost the gift,
Lost the hours, speeding life, speeding fast,
and here I am, still stuck to the past.
Look again, train in a tunnel and everything goes black.
It's me, right here, wanting you back.
Corner of your eye, blink you've missed it, shrink, shrinking I've fixed it,
couldn't use tape to tie you to me, saying goodbye goes through me
shudder, shiver down the spine,
it's just me, wishing you were mine.
Look between journeys, look closer, I'm right here
waiting in smoke, for you to appear.
