To a Soldier's family

R.I.P CRAIG RODERICK, BELOVED SON, BROTHER, FRIEND, HERO.

Having the strength and belief to carry on just living 
when soldiers march in but not out of war
but just existing through the pain is giving
so much greater, bigger, more.
just be strong, stay strong for each other
families are tied with chords and they have not undone your brother, your son.
He is still wrapped around you, holding you all together, 
he'll still be a soldier, with hand upon your shoulder,
now into forever
as your hero, your guide,
He still is with you, our nation's pride.
Some of us have so small a time upon this plane,
suffer short the pain of this, and it's insane to start to analyze why this happened to you, why it could happen, why it did to yours.
Just know that you're family adores each member, and know he is not only just to remember, but he'll be walking with you and guiding you now, please find this on your path to deciding on how you are strong. Love is eternal, and never wrong.
You will get through this. You will get through this.
Nothing anyone wouldn't give just to undo this,
but remember the chord that binds you close with love, mean's he's now your mentor, from above.
Call on him to give you strength when you are weak in the eye of the storm. Your soldier that once so bravely performed for our country, with altruistic flare, will be with you always, everywhere
A champion, a lord, a savior, a knight,
is arm and arm with the angels tonight,
and his example takes breath away, his memory an inspiration
has today become the creation of respect
as we all salute him and expect
his award for his service to his ancestors, his nation, his loved ones, to you.
he'll be rewarded with angels, and will be the light shining through.
